The Society presents four main productions a year in Heswall Hall, in October, November, March and May, with a play for children in January. The Society also produce a one act play each year which is entered in a number of local festivals and the All-England Theatre Festival, several times having reached the English Final, winning, most recently in 2001, with The Art of Remembering and winning the British One-Act Play Festival in 1985 with Skirmishes.
Recent productions have included Snake in the Grass, Happy Families, The Witches, Breezeblock Park, The Constant Wife, I Can't Remember Anything, A Doll's House, Black Comedy and Elegy for a Lady (Double Bill), Fantastic Mr. Fox, Canterbury Tales and Quartet.
Auditions for the plays usually take place in June/July for the first three productions and December for the remaining two productions of the season and the festival play.
Rehearsals take place in Richmond Hall on School Hill in Heswall on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and members not involved in the production in rehearsal are encouraged to come along on rehearsal nights for a cup of coffee and a chat.
