On hearing that Wirral Youths Football Team were attending various events and competitions without kits and were having to borrow kits from other teams, the donations came flooding in which enabled the team to buy four full football kits of various sizes – which are now being used by young people each week.

The kits were officially handed over to the team following a Football Competition which was held on Friday evening at Bidston Tennis Centre involving 30 young people from the area.

Constable Colin Newby said: “It was very pleasing to see how delighted the young people were when we presented them with the kits on Friday.
