I have had some prizes donated and are offering them as prizes in a 'Guess the Mileage' sponsorship.
I need as much support as possible on this motorcycle Adventure.

About us
Jubilee Church Wirral is a part of Newfrontiers - a worldwide family of churches together on a mission, currently approaching 500 churches worldwide. With a passionate commitment to build the church according to New Testament principles, we believe that the most effective form of evangelism is worked out from strong local churches. Churches where each member participates, the gifts of the Spirit are outworked, where there is joy in caring one for the other, where there is a desire to make a difference in society and to reach those in need. We aim to achieve this by restoring the church, making disciples, training leaders, planting churches and reaching the nations.

Moreton Grange Golf Society
Posted by Moreton Grange Golf Society on January 5, 2008 8:19 PM
We are a local Golf Society affiliated to the Moreton Grange Public House in Moreton, Wirral, that organises golf days once a month thoughout the year at a variety of courses around the Northwest of England and North Wales.
The majority of golf days consist of coffee and bacon buttie on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by a two/three course meal rounded off by a prize giving. Golf days vary in cost between £30 and £55 depending upon the venue. We mainly play individual stableford competitions but we also try to incorporate different formats such as Texas scramble, four-ball better ball at some time during the year, normally during the Winter season.
We have members of all ages and all standards ranging from single figure handicappers through to absolute beginners. Nobody needs to feel out of place or embarrassed at their standard of golf as our aim is to have a days golf with a few laughs thrown in. The emphasis is on fun and a social occasion rather than strict golf.
There is no annual subscription fee, though we encourage you to purchase a Society Polo shirt. We also subsidise your first two games of golf to enable you to come along to a few golf days and see what the society is all about.
To run alongside our society events we also organise the following:
a) Match play Singles Knockout (an intersociety match play competitiion contested each year,
b) League Cup (awarded to the most consistent golfer of the year
c) 2's sweep - winner takes all.
We are always on the look-out for new members and would welcome you as a member of our golf society. Please either email alan.bennett@edmund-nuttall.co.uk or ring 07920 496 929 for further information about joining the society.
