About Us:

Community Greenforce is a project to bring together sustainable green initiatives on Wirral using Birkenhead YMCA as a contact point and the Wirral hub.

The project's motto is "Thinking Green,Going Clean"

It is working with the Keep Britain Tidy Group on the Big Tidy Up www.thebigtidyup.org/

and is forging connections with national organisations including  Mow and Grow http://www.onesuffolk.co.uk/mowandgrow/

 and  Waste Watch http://www.wastewatch.org.uk

Alexander Melbourne,YMCA's Business Development Manager says that he is aiming to embed green thinking in all aspects of Birkenhead YMCA'S policies over time and help other groups make the connections to do the same.
