About us
Wirral Trade Justice was formed in 2003 to get people in Wirral to do something about the unfair terms of trade between rich and poor countries.
The objective of the organisation is to increase knowledge and understanding of unfair trading practices used by developed countries against the interests of the developing world by:
* Initiating and joining appropriate campaigns
* Issuing a regular newsletter to members
* Holding public meetings
* Lobbying MPs and MEPs, borough councillors and other opinion formers using local and national media
Membership of WTJ is open to anybody over the age of 16 years living in the Wirral who commits himself or herself to support the group's objectives.
The joining fee is £2. For churches and other organisations the membership fee is £5.
